Hi! We are so glad you are exploring our site and considering Chateau Yonah! We are Tessa and Trey, and are from Athens, Georgia. We have both grown up in Georgia, and have always loved taking get-aways to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. From the time we young children to adulthood we've really loved the Cleveland and Helen, Georgia (White County) community. (Fun fact- Tessa's parents got married at the top of Anna Ruby Falls- a popular waterfall about 15 minutes from Chateau Yonah.)
Several years ago we fell in love with Mount Yonah, and the surrounding vineyards. We purchased a newly built home with amazing views directly across from Mount Yonah- and Chateau Yonah came to be our home away from home. We love sharing our property and all it's amenities with our guests. We have always loved to travel, and staying in short term rentals has given us such a great experience, especially when traveling with our two boys, or with friends and extended family. Because we've stayed at many places, we knew we wanted our guests to feel like they had the space and comfort of home, while having amenities like a hot tub overlooking a great view, a fire pit for smores and sipping local wines around a fire, and even just basic comforts like ample paper products and a well stocked kitchen with plenty of appliances, cookware, a grill and much more.
When we put Chateau Yonah together we asked ourselves, what would our perfect rental home look like for us if we were traveling? We hope that you find Chateau Yonah is all that and more!
In addition to hosting, we enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, working out, cheering on the UGA Bulldogs, and spending time together as a family.
